Fairtree Hotel Investments, a division of Fairtree Operational Real Estate, is a specialist alternative real-estate investment manager, focused on hospitality asset management. Since launching in 2014 the division has successfully sourced, negotiated and completed on over 25 hotel transactions, totalling in excess of £350m in value.
Fairtree Operational Real Estate is a division of the Fairtree group, a leading multi strategy and long only investment manager which was founded in 2003 in South Africa. Fairtree has over £4bn in assets under management and has operations in South Africa, the UK and Europe.
Our Focus
Fairtree Hotel Investments specialises in hospitality real-estate asset management and manages various institutional and HNW mandates on behalf of an international investor base. Our investment strategies are based on opportunities in the UK and Europe hospitality sector, and, through a combination of operational efficiencies and capital growth, we aim to deliver long-term enhanced returns to our investors. Through our hotel management affiliate, Providence Hospitality, which has operations in both the UK and SA, we are able to maintain direct control of operational management, improving performance and achieving greater efficiencies across portfolios as well as on a per asset basis.

As seasoned investors in the hotel sector we have significant experience of managing transactions to a successful conclusion. We can conduct and supervise a full range of diligence workstreams both through our in-house expertise and via trusted third parties to identify and manage transactional and operational risk.
