Fairtree Operational Real Estate is a specialist multi-strategy real estate investment adviser, focused on operational real estate strategies. Since launching in 2011 the division has successfully sourced, negotiated, and completed over 30 transactions, in excess of £400m in value.

Fairtree Operational Real Estate is part of the Fairtree Group of companies, a leading multi-strategy asset and long-only investment management group, which was founded in 2003. Fairtree has over £6 billion assets under management and has operations in Southern Africa, Europe and the United Kingdom.

Why operational real estate?

Alternative and private asset classes have historically produced uncorrelated returns to general equity and bond investments. By investing in alternative assets, investors can complement their core investment portfolio by adding operational assets, that generate a more stable return and reduces overall portfolio volatility.

Operational real estate forms a key component of this strategy where, through the benefit of the operational management of these real-assets investments, advisers are able to produce attractive long-term returns.
